Visit the online portal of National Insurance Company, i.e., www.nationalinsuranceindia.nic.co.in.
There you can find the login option appearing on the right side of the home page as shown below.

In the drop down list, the insured should select the Customer and click on Buy Policy.
After that, you should select the state and place where you want to get the policy.
It gives the address of that branch and provides two options such as ‘Buy Policy’ and ‘Register Here’.
If you are already a registered user of National Insurance Corporation, then click on ‘Buy Policy.’
If you are a new user then click on ‘Register Here’ and continue the above login process to buy a National Insurance Policy.

National Insurance Online Payment Steps

Visit the official website of National Insurance Company Ltd, i.e., nationalinsuranceindia.nic.co.in.
One can find the Buy Online option on the right side of the homepage as shown below.

Click on that option and select the state and place where you want to buy the policy.
The address of the selected branch will be displayed on the screen and also provides two options namely ‘Buy Policy’ and ‘Register Here.’
If you are a registered user, you should click on ‘Buy Policy’ and get the policy online.
If you are a new user you must click on ‘Register Here’ and continue the NICL Login process to buy any one of the National Insurance Policies.

One can also buy the product wise National Insurance policy. That means they can buy the policy directly according to the chosen category. So, follow the below steps for NICL Online Payment process.

On the top menu of the National Insurance Homepage, you can find different types of Insurance products.
By mouse hovering on any of the Insurance types, you will find the pop-up as shown in below image.

In that click on the ‘BUY ONLINE’ option.
Then you will redirect to the www.niconline.co.in/custportalhome.html webpage.
www.niconline.co.in is the website which provides online services for the National Insurance. That means anything regarding national insurance policy can be done through online from this website.
This Buy Online method is used for National Insurance Online Payment as well as for Online Renewal.
After clicking on ‘BUY ONLINE’ you will find the page as shown below.

Here you can click on Primary Site. If it is not working, then click on Alternate Site or vice versa.
By clicking on the Primary site, you will be taken to niconline.co.in/custportal/ page.
There on the top menu, you can find the ‘Buy Policy Online’ icon as shown below.

From that, you can select any of the desired product that you want to buy as per your needs.

National Insurance Online Renewal Payment

The National Insurance Renewal Online Payment procedure is possible for all type of National Insurance policies such as Motor Insurance, Home Insurance, Health Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance, Rural Insurance, etc. except for Overseas Mediclaim. Since all the National Insurance Company policies have a period of one year, the insured have to renew their policy by paying the premium amount after completion of one year.
