It is not possible to renew the any policy online from National insurance and it always asks you to visit their branch office, I have all my medical and vehicle policy from NIC. Now I am changing to other insurance companies, as the NIC portal is not user friendly. perhaps it wants to promote agent culture

    Dear Sir,
I am being compelled to write you this email with a heavy heart in order to bring to your kind notice regarding the unethical/unprofessional practices carried out by the representatives of the employees of National Insurance Company ltd. and the bitter experiences and sufferings I am still facing by insuring my two wheeler vehicle from the said company. What I can realize is that I have committed a serious crime by insuring my two wheeler vehicle insurance in the said esteemed company.
In reference to my Policy No-150403/31/14/6200003550 , please note that my two wheeler vehicle (vehicle no-WB40V 5651)which met with an accident on 06/07/2015and I immediately reported to the respective department on the same(claim form attached). They sent the authorized surveyor(Mr.Ashok Das)for the inspection on 7/07/2015and he informed the authorized dealer viz.M/S Banerjee Bajaj, Durgapur-13 to provide the estimation for repairing the said vehicle. The said dealer submitted an estimation of Rs35135/-(list attached)and the surveyor told me that it will be a claim of total loss and to which he explicitly explained to me that i will be getting 75% of claim amount on my IDV, which comes to Rs31500/- on my IDV amount of Rs42000/-
On the 14/8/2015,the surveyor again called me and informed me over the phone to submit supplementary estimate in order to process for the total loss claim. Then I submitted supplementary estimate of Rs10826/- received from M/S Banerjee Bajaj, Durgapur(list attached).
Post that I regularly followed up with the surveyor to know the status. on 21/09/15 again I called him over the phone, he informed me that they were unable to process for total loss(although they did not provide me the reason for the same and surprisingly I had to call them to know such informations which clearly states their irresponsibility and negligence)and hence they will now process for cash loss to which again he explicitly explained that they are going to give me claim 70%-75% as per the authorized surveyor valuation and along with I will get back my vehicle as it is in damaged condition .The surveyor also told me that i order to process the same I have to contact to the senior Manager (Mr.Indranil Ghosh)who only has the discretion and authority to process for the cash loss. As per discussion with the surveyor ,I immediately submitted an application to the Senior Manager to settle my claim in terms of cash loss(letter attached).I followed up N number of times and they assured me that it will be done. on 2/11/15, I again visited the branch and this time they informed me that they won’t be able to process for the cash loss and I should apply for cash less to which they explicitly explained that I have to repair my vehicle at my own cost first and post that they will pay me as per their valuations. I clearly stated them that my present financial condition is not good as my work is getting suffered because of the absence of my vehicle
and hence it’s not possible for me to repair the vehicle from my own pockets.
Post the discussion with the Senior Manager, I again submitted an application for cash loss(letter attached) and the senior manager ensured me the that the cash loss will be settled.
On 1/12/2015 , when again I went to the branch to know the status of my claim, Mr. Indranil Ghosh introduced me with the Assistant Branch Manager (Mr. Samar Mistri) and told me to narrate the entire episode. After hearing to the entire episode and my harassment since last five months , both the Senior Manager and Assistant Branch Manager ensured me that either cash loss or total loss will be approved by any means and I don’t need to go for cash less.
On 3/12/15 when I again visited the branch to know the status they simply ignored /disgraced/dishonored me and I am still in the clouds about the fate of my claim.

Sir, I have badly suffered since last five months both mentally and my work has also got hampered. They are testing my patience. Even till date I am paying Rs25/- per day garage cost which comes to Rs 3750/- .who will bear this cost?
I request you to intervene and please help me to get this issue resolved as I don’t have any trust on them who are giving me contrary statements. I don’t know what personal interests they are having for this harassment which I am not being able to sense it?
Till date I don’t know what is the fate of my claim.
Kindly look into it and help me to solve the issue.
    Thanks and Regards

While trying to renew it through online, the message says that the vehicle is more than 10years old and cannot be renewed online. Now I’m out of station and may take some to return. How can I renew the insurance on time.? Should i send the insurance copy by courier or by email to the branch (NIC Br. State bank Road, Coimbatore) and pay the amount online? Please suggest.
